Managers and engineers are ten a penny. However, the combination of an experienced engineer and an experienced manager is less easy to find and that is exactly what makes me unique. I am a very experienced manager with years of engineering and practical experience.

I have used my expertise in many remarkable projects during my career, for example in the Botlek area, the Port of Rotterdam and Schiphol airport. My field of work covers industry, infrastructure and the port sector.

I am particularly experienced in dealing with complex multidisciplinary IT projects for large national and international companies. In such situations the combination of my practical and electrical engineering background and my knowledge of IT processes, plus my management experience, is of maximum value.

My preference is to start a project from scratch and use that as a basis to work in a targeted and focused way on achieving the desired result. I can make the most of my expertise in large-scale projects at the interface between management, technology and IT.

I have had my own business since 2012. Before that I worked for almost 30 years for various leading contractors in the Netherlands. During that period I developed from being an engineer into a manager. This gave me a feeling for the implementation of technical and IT processes and I also understand the challenges of management. In addition to working I also studied in the evenings for around 20 years and completed, among other things, a university course in Higher Business Administration. I like to keep challenging myself and working on my personal development.
