My management style is clear and transparent.
I focus strongly on the assignment and on the intended end result. I am also closely involved with the team and like to create harmony and trust between its members. The interests of the team are not my only focus. In daily practice I am a manager who, if the situation requires, does not hesitate to put on his PPE and get stuck in.
Clear KPIs keep me on track and form the basis for achieving the result within, of course, the context I have been assigned. However, the result is broader than KPIs alone. I also keep an eye on the stakeholders intended goals. I consider it my task to weigh up and take account of all the relevant interests in order to achieve a broadly supported result.
Via the preliminary design I work in a structured manner towards creating a definitive design and then tackle the execution design phase. This final phase also includes the complete testing and commissioning of the installation. Thanks to my experience as an engineer I know precisely what has to be tested, where and how. Even after these phases have been completed I like to keep my finger on the pulse. During the finalisation work I provide the correct documents needed for completion and transfer.
