Today it was time for a celebration at Schiphol! Whereas aircraft only used to be able to taxi in one direction on the Quebec taxiway, as of today they can do so in two directions at the same time. I had the wonderful task of filming from the cockpit as an aircraft used the taxiway for the first time.

Making Quebec a dual taxiway not only saves time for the operation, but greatly benefits airside safety as well. If you would like to find out more, please watch the video on the Schiphol YouTube channel.
