I am available for the executive and (interim) management of technical and/or IT projects. I know these processes inside out and have experience with projects worth more than 200 million euros. One example is a recent project in the Port of Rotterdam. I also have experience with:

• Carrying out reorganisations.
• Managing complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Drafting preliminary and definitive designs.
• Compiling feasibility studies.
• Auditing company processes for efficiency.
• All-round building management (contract management, maintaining contacts with contractors and suppliers, monitoring budgets and schedules).

As a technical specialist I like to do my research. I am able to do so thanks to my background and experience as an engineer. I prefer to design plants and installations from scratch. I can create the designs for all the technical installations and also establish the (IT) link between, for example, different production locations. I recently did this for a project for the Rotterdam Port Authority [Havenbedrijf Rotterdam] where I was responsible, as technical specialist, for linking a number of different container terminals. I also worked as a design leader on a project for Schiphol. Here I was involved, as technical specialist, in the extension of the runways and linking these to the central systems, including the control towers.

In my role of consultant I examine processes within (manufacturing) organisations in order to establish which processes can be improved, simplified and made more efficient. I like to get to the heart of the matter quickly. Based on thorough (numerical and operational) research I then advise on how to make specific improvements. The result is an optimised process which the organisation can use to progress. Examples include:

• Carrying out feasibility studies.
• Creating transparency and reducing failure costs.
• Optimising work processes.
• Coordinating work processes between various operating companies.
• Advice on the optimisation and automation of plants and
  production lines.
